SCOTT LONGMAN

Dear Voter,

Hi, I'm Scott Longman, and I'm your candidate for election within The City of London.

I was born in 1973, and raised in Lechlade-on-Thames, Gloucestershire. I attended the local primary school, and, on moving to Somerset in 1984, was educated in Glastonbury.

I have lived in London since 1993. In 2005, I was invited to become a Freeman of the City of London, and later that year, became a member of the Guild of Freeman. Three years later, I became a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths.

I play an active role in City life; I am a Friend of the City Churches, a Friend of St Lawrence Jewry Guildhall, and a Friend of St. Paul's Cathedral.

Professionally, I have worked for the Royal Courts of Justice, and enjoyed the position of National Campaign Co-ordinator for a major political party.

I am committed to building a strong, prosperous London, and I wish to take on board the priorities and concerns of the Square Mile community. With a strong network of donors and supporters, I can plan strategy to benefit businesses and individuals within the City of London, and implement efficient, effective and profitable initiatives for business.

You can register your support for my campaign on my website by entering your details in the relevant section.

There are many good reasons to sign up, and make a one-off donation, or a small, monthly contribution;

You want to support me in my campaign for the office of Common Council

You want to keep up to date with news, speeches, and priorities

You want to help build a strong and prosperous City of London.

I look forward to hearing your ideas.
